Community Guidelines

Guidelines for a safer creative discovery platform.

TheMovieCrafts works best when profiles are accurate, portfolios are genuine, and communication stays respectful. These guidelines apply to public profiles, portfolio items, reviews, reports, enquiries, chat, account details, and support interactions.

Accurate profiles and genuine portfolios

Professionals should describe their skills, categories, city, experience, availability, and portfolio honestly. Do not claim credits, qualifications, awards, clients, roles, or services that are not yours. Do not upload copied portfolios, stolen images, misleading reels, or media you do not have permission to publish.

Prohibited content and behavior

TheMovieCrafts does not allow impersonation, misleading claims, copied portfolios, harassment, threats, spam, scams, fraud, illegal content, hate content, explicit sexual content, malware, attempts to bypass security, or misuse of contact, enquiry, review, report, or chat features. Users must not pressure others for sensitive personal details, passwords, OTPs, unsafe meetings, or off-platform actions that create risk.

Professional conduct

Professionals should communicate clearly about availability, scope, pricing, timelines, deliverables, travel, usage rights, and limitations before accepting work. The platform cannot guarantee project outcomes, so honest communication is essential for trust.

Review integrity

Reviews should be based on genuine interactions and should not be bought, traded, manipulated, abusive, or posted to harm a competitor. Reviews may be moderated when they appear fake, irrelevant, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or otherwise unsuitable.

Reporting concerns

Reports should be submitted in good faith with relevant URLs, screenshots, profile names, chat details, or other context. False, abusive, or retaliatory reports may themselves be treated as misuse. Use the Report Content page for guidance.

Moderation and enforcement

TheMovieCrafts may review profile details, portfolio media, reviews, reports, messages, and account activity when safety, quality, or trust concerns arise. Enforcement decisions may consider context, seriousness, available evidence, user history, repeated behavior, and whether the issue can be corrected. Actions may include requesting changes, limiting visibility, removing content, rejecting reviews, suspending features, or terminating access.

No unsupported guarantees

These guidelines help maintain platform quality, but they do not create a guarantee that every profile, review, portfolio, or user interaction has been independently verified. Users should still make their own checks before hiring, paying, collaborating, travelling, or sharing sensitive information.
